Having worked in the corporate world for a number of years we found ourselves sharing an office at Lloydspharmacy. During our time there we worked closely together on improving business performance through HR strategies. We discussed about how large Companies had HR departments, and took having that resource and expertise for granted and talked about how we could add the same value to smaller businesses by setting up our own Company, which we did in 2006. We believed that our combined talents and experience would put us in a unique position to help and support SMEs in Scotland (and we would be the authors of our own destiny!).

Jo has vast experience of dealing with employment issues gained from her work with Safeway and Lloydspharmacy. She is known for giving business focussed, practical advice on everything from providing contracts of employment through to disciplinary and capability issues and she has also a wealth of experience dealing with TUPE transfers and company re-organisations; ensuring effective transitions with ongoing productivity. Her interest in understanding people and their behaviour led her to gain qualifications in Psychometric Assessment and Occupational Personality Testing.

Sue worked in retail and telephone sales for a number of years after which her passion for developing people led her into training where she subsequently gained professional qualifications. She worked for various customer focused companies, including BSM, RAC, Costa Coffee and Lloydspharmacy, where she helped develop effective management, sales and customer service skills. She is experienced at helping organisations deal with Change Management as it relates to their people. She has also added a Business Coaching qualification to her portfolio of skills in last few years.
